Kid Biz 101
As a nonprofit organization, our mission statement truly personifies our goal as a community-based fundraising company. Provide quality sustainable business opportunities for America's Youth, business-minded individuals and organizations experienced in fundraising.
Youth learn the business of incorporating, sourcing, marketing, promoting,
selling, packing, logistics, inventory, quality control, operations, human resources and brand development associated with the world's most used commodity, SUGAR.
Youth today talk sugar on a daily basis. Kid Biz 101 empowers youth with the
skill sets to literally write their own ticket. America's Youth spends on average $5 per day on some form of Sugar. Based on that demand youth are looking for the next best FLAVOR.
The majority of youth participate in some form of extracurricular activity from
acting, band, chorus, sports, to dance/cheer, and they have to fundraise.
Either as part of the team or individually. WHY? Participation in any of the above activities is expensive and can range from $1500 up to $6000 per season. The kids who do not participating in the fundraising are looking for ways to make money other then working at the local burger joint.
Today's youth are the technology generation who have expensive tastes and they want immediate gratification. From video games, tablets, phones, laptops, sneakers and sports/tech camps today’s youth want to make money NOW. As a result, many youth ages 13-18 are selling snacks everyday in school. And not only are they cashing in, the smart ones are leveling up.
